• RIP Joseph Job

    Brothers, it is a sad duty to add to the RIP list, but it’s also very instructive as to the lives that DTN Brothers have led.  Joe was an interesting fellow for sure, read below for more and RIP to our departed Brother.

    Job, Joseph A. age 64 of Ridgewood passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Born in Suffern, NY he grew up in Allendale, NJ and later lived in Secaucus, NJ before moving to Ridgewood 19 years ago. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Job (nee Russell) of Ridgewood, his daughter, Allison-Leigh of New York City, his brother, Mark P. Job (Brenda) of Allendale, his cousins Kathleen (nee Job) and Jerald Gill and their children and grandchildren, and the Russell, Russo and Forenza families. He was predeceased by his father, Pasko C. Job in 1994, his mother, Ann M. (nee Kurelja) Job in 2015, a brother Gary Job in 2012, and his two brother-in-laws Todd Russell in 1994 and Kevin Russell in 2008. Joseph attended St. Luke’s elementary and high school in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ and received his Bachelor’s degree from Dayton University, Ohio in 1972. Joseph served two years in a V.A. hospital in Ohio as Conscious Objector during the Vietnam War. After graduating college Joseph returned to New Jersey and was a partner in Job Equipment and later began his own company, Atlantic Tractor, where he was the owner/operator for the past 27 years. Joseph was a marathon runner and had recently completed his 15th New York City Marathon in November 2014. He was also a New York Road Runners Club Member and Volunteer. Joseph coached Biddy Basketball in Ridgewood, NJ, and was an avid New York Giants fan and season ticket holder for over 30 years. Celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, April 7 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at 11:00 am at St. Luke’s RC Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ followed by the interment in the adjacent Church Cemetery.
